"Place was amazing. The drive from Orvieto is slow narrow roads uphill for 30-45 min. Then full stop……….. the place is an incredible castle with amazing views and surroundings. Living back in ancient Roman days. What a castle and fortress. The staff were great. The grounds and views amazing especially sunset and sun rise. Dinner was incredible experience - big group dinner for all guests services on platters in an ancient dining area. 6-8 courses ( depending how you break it up) and very...

"We stayed at Hotel Trevi in early September and I must say being my first time in Italy, this hotel and area was so beautiful! Our rooms were very big and spacious! According to the owners, this place was built a little bit before Christopher Columbus. This place is located on a hill and the room we stayed in gave us a wonderful view of the olive fields & was in walking distance to a mini shopping area with a drug store, restaurants and a small grocery store.

"Posta Donini is a renovated grand residence that was originally built in the 16th century. The setting is beautiful, but what really makes this place unique is the kindness and availability of the staff. They are incredibly helpful and go out of their way to make sure you have a memorable stay.
For example, I needed a wired internet connection with a static IP address, and the staff did their best to accommodate my request.
I highly recommend the free tour of the grand residence as it gives...

"I've stayed here quite a few times, so that speaks for itself. The pool is the big asset plus the views across the valley. It's a bit of a trek up to Assisi itself - about 15 minutes up hill on a road with traffic. If you don't have a car, you need to plan carefully. You can get drinks and basic lunch at the house. It is rustic and that will either frustrate you slightly or charm you. Good price, idyllic setting - I just wish there was a bus or shuttle going up to the town. Very friendly new...

"The property is well situated at the foothils of St Francis Cathedral. The room was quite cramped for 3 persons. The restaurant on site is great option for dining.

was also good, bit on a sweeter side, lots of pastry and cakes, limited on salty savory options. I'd recommand this place, well priced. "

"Great property, wonderful view from the terrace!
Breakfast
has lots of options with eggs, bacon, pastries, cold cuts, fruit and vegetables, jams, etc.
Just a friendly side note for the F&B manager of the property, it's very dissapointing to overhear the "stories'" about "how stupid some guests are" from the staff sharing them in the kitchen area - very unprofessional, something to definitely bring up to your servers attention if you want to keep up with the level of service you are aiming...

"In the first days it was extremely cold in the hotel.
The staff was friendly and made an effort to solve all the problems, including the cold in the room (due to the crisis, it was forbidden in Italy to turn on the heat). The hotel was full of guests and, on the first nights, they gave us extra blankets. After three days, the problem was solved by changing the room.
I had an emergency and needed to work on the computer one night. They provide me with one computer and Internet access.

good. Very hospitable. In the country setting, but not too far from Montefalco historical area. We recommend this place and would stay again. Need a car to enjoy the area."
