The hotel is in a great location in the center of Ilkley, staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate and had everything you need (including a coffee machine). Cooked Breakfast was excellent. Parking was limited but its right next to a large pay and display

This is a great hotel/pub in an excellent location in the centre of Ilkley. The landlord and his staff were all super friendly and could not do enough for us. We were given an upgrade on our rooms, and were allowed an early checkin despite the place being really busy for Mothers Day. Breakfast was particularly good - especially the scrambled egg and three-pan-omelette - highly recommended if you’re staying here :-)

Parking in a council run car park pay by app. Free after 1800 but have to pay again at 0800 but on app it’s easy. Staff and host very friendly. Good food. Good beer. What more do you want.

Hidden Gem

My husband and I stayed at The Black Hat as it was opposite the church where we went for a wedding ceremony. The room was spacious and modern with all the amenities we needed. It was warm and cosy despite the outside temperatures. And the comfort tea/coffee and biscuits generous. The breakfast was substantial and cooked well. Thank you Black Hat

Can access back of Black Hat thru beer garden if parking in main Ilkley car park. Be aware that this car park now has evening charges - make sure you don’t get caught out 👀.
