Baymont By Wyndham Greenville, NC

My husband and I recently stayed at the Baymont by Wyndham in Greenville, NC. The establishment was advertised as a very nice place to stay. Upon arrival we discovered otherwise. The lobby was dark and unwelcoming, the staff were nice and courteous however. When approaching our room would could see cracks in the stairs and walk ways to the rooms. When entering our room number 210, we noticed a damp feeling and smell. There was mold in the ceiling in several spots (photos attached). The sink was clogged and had difficulty draining. The sink also leaked, I notified the hotel front desk. The hair dryer was coming off the wall and barely worked. The tub was in poor shape (photos attached). The couch has frays on the edges and had an awful smell (photo attached). The refrigerator worked well but was in poor shape externally. There was no room service the 3 days we stayed. We had to use dirty towels for 2 days. We had to ask for toilet paper and towels at the end of day three. This experience was less than satisfactory and a complete disappointment. Both my husband and I were itching through out our entire stay. I saw no evidence of bed bugs but we were very disgusted. Does Expedia offer a guarantee or compensation for a less than satisfactory stay experience? Thank you for your time and look forward to hearing back from Expedia.
