Nice Pet firendly hotel
We choose this hotel because they were pt friendly and got a reservation while in route. They sent a text message giving me paperwork to fill out to streamline check in procedures. At the bottom of page 1 it said that they were NOT a pet friendly hotel and that there would be $250 fee for a pet found in the room! I called and texted the hotel with no response. I had no choice but to solve this in person. When I got there the clerk said they did accept pets and if there was any damage it was $125 fee. The $250 fee was for smoking in the room. I said ok and I apologized for misunderstanding. I checked the on-line paperwork again when I got to the room and I did not misread the pet charges! This hotel must have not accepted pets in the past and has not since redone their online check in procedures. Anyway it was confusing but all ended well. The room was clean and comfortable although we had to ask for a coffee maker in the room. There are outside dog areas that are kept clean but be careful of traffic coming and going. This hotel has no breakfast however Jane's Diner on the same property is excellent. We enjoyed two meals there and would definitely eat there agin if in the vicinity. Also know that this hotel has people coming and going all the time as it contracts for railroad workers as well as other workers. I would stay there again.
