Great location and great value
The palce is ina a great location, the staff were friendly and efficient. The room was spacious with many amenities and clean. There are some maintenance items though. The blinds we broken, the television had no reception and I had to reconnect the cable box. The key cards were a bit glitchy but I got by. The breakfast offerings met expectations but not fancy. Very good value overall but they should keep on top of the upkeep.

Do Not stay here
Room dud not match picture or description. Buikding in ill repaur. Ned buikt backwards, mold in bathroom. Did not honour late check out nor any kjnd of compensation for last minute notice for not honoring. Breakfast was grls, piece of fruit or quaker packets of oats. Would avoid at all cost. Highly over pruced fir whats offered. "Suite" is a srandard room in any other hotel. Poor customer service, not kept up, cleanliness was poor.

Works for location
We stay at this hotel because of the location and price. It would be nice if in the winter there was a blanket on the bed other than 2 sheets, or better heat in the room. Also they gave us a parking voucher that didn’t work so had to pay for parking ourselves. The staff is friendly and the rooms are ready when we arrive to check in (which doesn’t always happen at other hotels) hotel serves its purpose, will stay again , but will bring my own blanket.

Quaint but dated hotel in the downtown core
Check in was excellent and seamless. Got the keys and were in the room in about 5 minutes. Room was spacious if a but strangely laid out. Beds were comfortable however the pillows were a but soft. The room was quite warm when we arrived. A portable air conditioner was in place to help with that but it was very noisy. Overall the stay was decent and great value for the price.

Boutique hotel with problems.
Recently renovated older building but an odd mix of higher quality finishes in the bathroom, and low-end bedding and room furniture. Had a gas fireplace which was non-functional as far as I could tell. This could have been useful since the heat for the room was supplied by a window mounted unit which did not seem to be adjustable and provided very little hot air. The result was an uncomfortably cold room. The thin low quality bedding with no extra blankets in the room did not help.

It was the Location for us
We had a pleasant stay. For the money you know it’s not a high end hotel but it was close to the music venue we were attending. The staff were all very friendly. Our room was kind of tired and the bed was hard but very spacious. Our only challenge was trying to figure out the window air conditioner and we couldn’t get the tv to work. But we would stay again for the price for the next concert.

Cold but clean
We could not control the temperature of the room and it was cold. There were only thin sheets and no comforters. Service (front desk) was responsive and directed us to use the 'fireplace' but it didn't work for us. The place feels old and tired. The paint on the bathroom walls is all chipped and peeling, and the hallways were frigid and dark.

Our room was great.
Our room was spacious! We enjoyed our room greatly for the weekend we had and were well rested for the days' events. Unfortunately, outside of our room, there was a huge water issue in the hallway (probably from the floor above) that made for some unpleasant smells in the mornings due to wet carpets. But the service was great and hugely accommodating. We had several issues with our room keys being demagnetized, but staff was always apologetic and willing to help restore the issue.

Door lock system in desparate need of updating - key cards needed to be re- magnetized constantly (front desk staff excellent to fix when required, however). Paid for 3 people but only provided towels for 2. Hotel provided hand soap was not very high quality. Parking is about a block away & unloading zone is on a busy street. Beds were comfortable enough. Pillows could be replaced.

It was a Friday night and the bar across the street partied loudly until 2 in the morning. Lots of motorcycle traffic noise too. The room faced an alcove that amplified and reverberated the music/noise, combined with average quality beds made it impossible to sleep. The continental breakfast was inexpensive bagged bagels, some fruit, and hardly the 'gourmet' coffee advertised. The Jacuzzi tub was fine. Sorry, never to return.
