Okay stay. Good waterslide
Initial room we switched as it was right above and beside the pool. That room was very humid and stunk like chlorine. The bathroom was stained and needs to be re done. The floor you could see growth in the grout (probably from the humidity in the room) and things were not clean and that room should not be used for guests anymore. Room 221? Our second room was fine. Room was clean and bathroom was cleanish (bathtub very stained) The water slide was great for the kids - 1 whirlpool and smaller pool was closed for maintenance.. pool for sure wasnt the clearest or clean but to be expected as its a busy pool. Bathroom doors in the pool area need to be fixed as my 9 year old got stuck in one until we got my husband to open the door with using a lot of force. They need more chairs in the pool area. Having 30 plus people in the pool area on a Saturday and 2 chairs and 2 little ottoman things and thats all. Lobby area was nice. Breakfast was good enough. The staff at breakfast were nice and if something was empty it would be re filled. Fine for a one night stay.

Shower needs to be cleaned better. There’s pink build up on the grout and streaked on the side of the tub which came off easily when I wiped with a cloth. There was also garbage left beside my bed when I first entered the room.

Terrible service
There was no one at the front desk for ten minutes when we tried to check in. There were brown stains on the mattress cover that looked like poop. And hair in the bathtub. The pool area is falling apart the rubber floor is peeling off and breaking everywhere. When we were swimming there where no towels. I went out to the front desk to ask for towels and had to wait 10 minutes again for someone to be at the front desk it was a ghost town. Then they said they don’t have clean towels they were in the dryers. There was not enough breakfast for the people in the hotel. Had to wait 45 minutes to actually get food. Probably the worst service I have ever experienced.

Breakfast is fantastic but...
Booked this hotel for a family weekend away. Pleasantly surprised to see it being renovated, definitely needed, but nothing was intrusive and there wasn't any noticeable work being done. Just good results of the effort. Breakfast was awesome, staff were super accommodating, hot food in addition to the regular self serve options was a real plus. It's not just a dig here, but almost every hotel since the vid, but no daily hospitality service is really getting to be a bother. Room was decently clean, but not overly scrubbed by any means, but the real kicker is even though we're only there for 2 nights, we had to put up with garage bins not emptied, no fresh towels, shower that didn't drain properly, etc. Part of the reason we stay in hotel versus an Airbnb is really the extra service we should get. Price hasn't gone down but the cleaning isn't getting done. Really frustrating. This isn't just this establishment but all hotels it just unfortunately brings down our score in this review. Plus point is this location is very easily accessible if coming or going on the east end of Regina. Lots of amenities and easy access.
