DON'T STAY HERE!!!! HIDDEN FEES! VERY RUDE PEOPLE!
WARNING!!!!⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ I booked this hotel because it was cheaper than anyone else in Waco. I do not advise staying here they want to charge you a $250 damage fee and $100 deposit, but they do not make that clear when you book the room. They stole my momey from me and refused to refund me my money. I even called hotels.com and they call the hotel and they still refused. They are rude, ungreatful, disrespectful. I had to sleep outside with my kids on Christmas Eve and it was cold and raining. They absolutely ruined my kids Christmas. They will not let you talk to a manager either! I do not recommend staying here at all...STAY AWAY!!!!

It’s what you expect for the price

Don't stay at this OYO Hotel.
This was the worst experience I've ever had. We had booked this room about a year before we were scheduled to arrive since it was to see the solar eclipse. This was one of the few hotels that still had rooms available. When we got there, front desk told us they overbooked and we didn't have a room after all. After being on the phone with Hotels.com for about half-an-hour, we were able to find another room, thank goodness. Not to mention, the hotel's condition was horrible. It looked dilapidated and there was actually a man sitting on the floor of the lobby crying. I'm actually glad we didn't stay there in the end. Never again

Refund?
I booked my stay. Got there & they said they’re fully booked. It’s been 12 days, & they still have not refunded my money. Their costumer service is horrible.

When arriving to check in a lady came to my car asking if I was there to check in. I let her know that I was and that I had a reservation. She started laughing and said, “oh we are overbooked”. And walked away. Then a man came up to my car asking for the number to a taxi service but he had a phone on his hand. Place seems sketchy and I would not recommend wasting your time booking here.

The plumbing was broken. I had to look elsewhere. Apparently this Hotel is notorious for this sort of thing. Paid 2 months in advance. another couple in front of me paid 2 years in advance. Eclipse!!! I should get more than just a refund. Everything was booked. Had to sleep in my rental car, thank you.

Upon arrival to the hotel, the lobby was full of people that found out their reserved rooms were no longer available. I gave the the clerk my booking number provided from OYO, they claimed the room was already booked. Hotel rooms were going at a premium that night because of the sun eclipse and it seems the clerk was taking advantage of the situation at the expense of people that had legitimate reservations.

I'd be embarrassed to let anyone pay for this room, much less the price gouging because of the eclipse. There is no pride in this property -- it's exceptionally run down. Stains all over the walls. Water stains on the ceiling. Mold in the bathroom. The TV came on, but there was no signal to allow you to watch programming. There was this random, beat up, office chair just put in the room for some reason (there's no desk). The bath mat had holes in it. The beds were decent to sleep in, and the water pressure was ok. Still, I'd either fix this place up or close it down.

Horrible, should be shut down. Has reservations for Sunday before the eclipse, April 7, 2024 and when we arrived the woman at the desk said there was no available rooms. Said they had a plumbing issue, however just before arrival we got a message from the hotel saying they were awaiting our arrival and stay. We asked about a refund as we had to find other accommodations and was told we had to go through Expedia to get it. She called the manager to talk to us because she barely spoke English. Manager Alma was the one that told us all this. Besides overcharging for the eclipse, the hotel contacted me to find out why we wanted a refund. Took Expedia over a week to get them to respond. DO NOT STAY HERE. People are rude, dishonest, and unethical.

I booked this reservation through Expedia for a business trip and received a confirmation. However, when we arrived at the hotel in Waco after a 3 hour drive from Houston, I was told that the hotel was sold out and that they would not honor my reservation. Apparently, other guests were experiencing the same problem. Unfortunately, there were no availability for hotels in Waco due to the eclipse traffic. As a result, we turned around and immediately drove back to Houston for the night. THIS IS A HORRIBLE WAY OF DOING BUSINESS! The OYO hotel as well as Expedia can not be trusted for my future travel needs.

I lost my deposit because my flight leaves at 5 in the morning, I speak at 7 at night to check out and receive my return deposit, the answer is; there is no manager, nor the person in charge to receive the room, after 10. No solution to my problem by the reception of this hotel, your customer service is terrible. perdi mi deposito porque mi vuelo sale a las 5 de la mañana, hablo a las 7 de la noche para hacer check out y recibir mi deposito de regreso, la respuesta es; no hay manager, ni la persona encargada para recibir la habitacion, despues de las 10. ningina solucion a mi problema por parte de la recepcion de este hotel, su servicio al cliente es pesimo.
