Good spacious rooms, Grand Buffet!

We picked this hotel primarily to enjoy the luxury, comfort and convenience as it was right in the heart of downtown. Lots of positives wrt to location, grandness and things it offered. Lots of options for restaurants, shopping and Best brunch buffet ever and yes, it is a little on the higher side. But, totally worth it. Very very friendly staff and we felt very welcome throughout our stay. Check-in was fast, the room was clean when we entered, everything was set well and had very spacious and rich decorations. We were offered a room on one of the lower floors and front desk wasn’t too keen to offer options for upgrade when requested. After the 2nd day, noticed that the carpet and bathroom weren’t cleaned properly as we came back later in the day of visiting the city. Was slightly disappointed to see a grand hotel missing out on the minor cleanup things during our stay. Overall, had a good experience but felt I could have had a better experience in nearby hotels, for the price paid.
