We were given a handicap room which was not the issue.The front desk knew the condition of the room so I honestly believe it was given to use out of spit.The reason I say so: Originally they couldn't find our reservation because I said it was under my name but we actually booked the place under my wife's name.We took what they gave us.It was a second floor back of the place with a view of the dumpster.I then grabbed my phone, which I originally left in the car when first checking in I then went back to the front desk and informed them of my error. The price ended up being a whole day less booking with Expedia. I know she didn't appreciate that & the extra work.I could see it in her face. So she stuck us in the worst room in the place in my estimation. There was an air freshener & that was the first thing I noticed. We were in a mold infested room. The furniture smelled horrible when you opened the drawers. The floor was laminate faux wood. The bathroom had mold in the grout & the caulking was done so amazingly amateurish. The floor were disgustingly dirty. I even politely mentioned it to housekeeping. I reserve my opinion on them. I even went to the front desk on our last night of stay & asked for a replacement of the Air Wick liquid despenser & mentioned the condition of the room. They didn't offer to change our room. I've been around the world 4X, India, all of the Caribbean, all of Asia from Hong Kong to Thailand. This place discriminates against people of color!
