Hotel did not receive my booking information
Hotel did not have our reservation information from hotels.com despite paying in full months in advance and receiving confirmation of booking. When we checked in it seemed other guests were having the same issue including our friends who were getting married and staying in a suite.
After half an hour the hotel was eventually able to book us a different room at no extra charge. Hotels.com was able to contact the hotel to confirm our original booking and even refunded the original charge, which was a nice surprise.
I don't know what would have happened if they didn't have extra rooms. The front desk looked like a temporary setup. I'm not sure if the hotel was undergoing renovations and that maybe affected the reservation system. The system they used was incredibly slow. I would not risk an important visit by booking here again.
