Great location and good value for your money. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to help me with the minor issues I encountered. Breakfast could have been better, but the rooftop pool and view made up for it!

Don't Sleep on Hotel Mio
Hotel Mio was reasonably priced and my stay was great. The staff were very helpful and extremely accommodating. The rooms were simple but clean. The food in the restaurant was excellent. I have to return to the city in two weeks and I've already made my reservation at Hotel Mio.

Wonderful Hotel and Staff
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mio. Stayed one night when I first arrived in Panama and booked a 3-night stay upon leaving Panama. The customer service was excellent. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, TV had many channels and the restaurant was excellent. It has a gym and pool on the rooftop. Everyone was so accommodating and made sure we were well taken care of. The staff had a way of making the guest feel special. The hotel location is on a side street off of a much busier street so people may not know it's there. The cost is less than some of the hotels on the busy street. We will be returning to Panama City in a few months, and we already plan to stay at Hotel Mio again.

The roof views were beautiful. The room was clean and the staff was outstanding. We had breakfast there and I have no complaints. Price was reasonable. Go To the roof. The view was incredible.

Just OK
Once I arrived I was told the pool was out of service and that I should have received an email, but I didn’t. The room was fairly clean, but the bathroom could have used a little extra attention. The shower walls were were visibly covered with blonde hair. There is very little storage space with no microwave or iron in the room. Also, I couldn’t properly adjust the thermostat in the room so it remained too cold for my liking. The breakfast spread was pretty good and staff was polite, although not overly helpful with helping you with excursions.

I liked the boutique feel. The restaurant decor is dreamy and beautiful. The young girl in the restaurant was very pleasant, professional, and has a warm smile. The continental breakfast was just okay. Scrambled eggs should not be so overcooked.

I’d Return!
I stayed 5 days; the hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The hall lights were on a sensor saved electricity but annoying for the guest. This was my second unintentional stay. This means that I choose this hotel on two separate occasions because of the price and amnesties. The rooftop was under renovations so I didn’t get to enjoy the pool. The air conditioning in the gym did not work. All in all. I would return again. Free breakfast was great. Since there was no microwave or coffee in the rooms. It would have been nice if the hotel provided free coffee.

We only stayed a night and it was great. We arrived after 10 and it took us only 2 minutes to get our room. The fact that they had Netflix was great and regardless of them having limited options for breakfast, it was good. The staff was pleasant and overall it was good.
