Amazing bed, beautiful interior of the building and our room. Convenient bars located below our room. Check-in/out was seamless. Parking was easy, used the ramp northwest across the street. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Great time

It was amazing! Our room was beautiful, the staff was helpful, and I’d definitely recommend staying here to anyone who wants to go to duluth

Chad was wonderful and helped us with our reservation and the room was very unique; such a fun stay!
Leah, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

It was cute but the beds need to be replaced, our backs were sore after sleeping
Duane, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

It was wierd coming to a hotel with no check-in staff or desk. Thankfully my log-in worked. My only real complaints would be that the walls are too thin, in that there was too much outside noise to contend with. Also, better directions with parking.

Loved this hotel! Anytime that I am in Duluth I plan on staying here. Check in/out was also a breeze. The basement bar is worth checking out!!
Vanessa, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The building was very interesting and steeped in so much history and character. The downstairs speak easy had an almost castle vibe with the stonework and ambiance.

The property itself was fabulous! We lived our room the bar on the first floor was fun and the rathskeller had great live music the only issue was parking and the area around the hotel was very sketchy

It was very nice! Loved it

Not next time

If you get assigned a room on the 1st floor, you'll have to share a bathroom with 3 other people. There was a terrible noise that made it difficult to sleep.

Fun Little Piece of History

The Oliver Inn is such a cool little place. It’s a destination of its own. The whole building is decorated in such a style, you forget you’re not on a history tour. The location is great; parking is tricky, but not unbearable. If we ever wander back to Duluth, this is where we will be staying!

The room was clean and beautiful. They went out of their way to make sure I had a hairdryer and responded back quickly. I will absolutely be staying here again!

This place was amazing! Great boutique hotel! Old building vibes with fantastic art and history throughout! Can walk to coffee, deli, restaurants nearby and super close to walkway to lakeshore path and Canal St. Grabbed a drink at the new lounge. No front desk but instructions for check-in/out clear and timely. Great stay for marathon weekend (or any time)!

Amazing location, we parked and walked to everything. We parked on the street right next to the hotel. We were nervous about the car but everything was fine. The hotel is so unique and each room tells a different story. The beds were super comfortable. The bathroom was huge! Loved the onsite bar!! We will only stay here when in Duluth. Side note food at canal park brewery is excellent and ice cream at love creamery is a must!

8/10 Very good

Overall a cute comfortable stay for a short weekend. very convenient to walkable places. Parking garage not the greatest but dont be dumb and leave valuables in sight
Jennifer, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Cool hotel with friendly bar on main floor. Beds were comfortable. Room very clean. Easy parking across the street. The only negative was the sad state of downtown Duluth - I wasn't expecting big city problems in a small town (high # of homeless, obnoxious e-bikers along the lake path, etc.).
Lisa, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Great stay

Comfy, clean, convenient accommodations. Parking downtown is exactly what you would exact but definitely doable. Would stay again for sure!
Emily, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Cold noisy room. Toilet separate. Uninviting vibe. We left after 20 minutes.
