It's a no for me.
It was decent as in the room was clean but not the bed. I always check beds when I get a room and I didn't like what I saw. Sheets look horrible with stains. And yes there were bed bugs. Not the best option if I had to say

Meh
We booked a double bed but was only given 1 bed. He was more concerned if we left the room clean (was in there for 2 min) and didnt even apologize for giving us a wrong room. The room we did get had stains on the sheets, a used bar of soap was left in the shower, only had 1 wash rag, the beds sounded like a cookie sheet every time you moved! It wasnt the worst and we got a cheap hotel for after the OSU game but i probably wouldnt go back.

We wanted to go to the German Village and this hotel was convenient. Although basic, it had what we needed for an overnight day.

Not bad 4 price but be prepared for an experience
Let me start by saying I had read lot of reviews before staying and so should you. For the price its not the worst hotel stay Ive ever had. However, this place is by no means a quality hotel. There are sketchy people that seem to live there and watch you, the rooms smell of nicotine and air freshener, someone was bumping their music at outside 10 am and there was definitely a roach that crawled across the Tv stand. So with that being said, one night wont kill you but be prepared for the experience.

You get what you pay for. Columbus is an expensive city for accommodation. This is a motel, not a hotel as claimed. It’s fine. I slept well. It was quiet. The lighting was very ordinary, one overhead light by the door, and a couple of lamps. No tea bags provided, just coffee. It was okay for one night before I flew out.

It was a place to sleep.
The motel was inside of a wayward city block. There are people living there that lounge outside of their rooms in chairs. There were vehicles that people clearly had moved their life into, in the parking lot. I didn't hear gunshots or anything, but I definitely slept with mine under my pillow and my hand on it. The room itself was recently remodeled and honestly the only saving grace this motel has. This was a rushed trip and a last minute booking, we were able to sleep there. Other than that we avoided our motel the whole trip. The staff was very terse but not like full on rude. Overall, wouldn't stay again, but I would if I had to.

Literally had brown stuff all over the walls. Mirrors were dirty. Lights didn’t work cockroaches, crawling in the ceiling.

We needed a place to stay for a night in Columbus after attending the Weezer concert in downtown. German Village Motel served the purpose. The room we got was clean and comfortable. The TV worked great, the bathroom was clean and well supply with soap, shampoo, and hair dryer.
I think the reception area could be nicer. The fact that the person working there was behind plexiglass was not too reassuring. This are was kind of dark, dated, and there was nothing welcoming nor attractive about it.

I was worried at first but it turned outto be a great hotel. It was quiet and felt safe. Tons of bar restaurants. FYI if you arrive late at night it can look Sketchy. I would stay there again .

Area seems a bit sketchy, but it provided what I needed, a place to sleep for cheap. It is walking distance to restaurants and bars in the area which is great. Staff was not the friendliest or helpful.

I wouldn’t return. This seemed like the worst people in Columbus all congregate here at midnight to smoke weed and rev their cars. It didn’t feel welcoming or safe. The room was pretty run down. The AC unit was broken. Shower was okay. Bed was average. I would suggest paying slightly more $$$ to get a better overall hotel experience in downtown Columbus.
