The overall service is good and the room is comfortable. However, we upgrade our breakfast to the rooftop by paying extra for every person. On that day, it was raining hard. I checked with the butler to confirm it is feasible to do the rooftop breakfast. I was advised that there is cover to shade the rain. However, it was leaking everywhere and it was really cold even with blanket provided. The staff as doing his best to accommodate us. However the overall condition for the rooftop dining under the rain is extremely poor. They should have moved us to a warmer and dry place.

Staying here was a wonderful experience that we will not forget! The location, food, and amenities were of course stellar, and our room with the balcony-side private onsen tub was luxurious. What stood our most, however, was the service. Staff was attentive and kind to the highest degree. For example, with only 1 hour notice, I called the front desk to help surprise my partner for her birthday with a treat in our room upon our pending return for the evening. Within an hour, they had set up an extravagant birthday display and a wine bottle with glasses. It made our trip even more special and I am grateful! Additionally, as English speakers, we had no problem with the language barrier and found that most staff spoke proficient English.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights at the property. It’s secluded but a short (free) bus from the hotel to Ita Thao or you can participate in one of the many activities on site or facilitated by the property. For tourists it’s very easy to get to with a free shuttle from Taichung HSR station. The staff were extremely attentive to all of our needs - including a complicated food restriction. The facilities are amazing - we loved water world, the massage, view of sun moon lake from the room, and the FOOD was amazing. Every day we were surprised and delighted by a new experience provided by the hotel. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay - we will be back again!!

All around the Hotel was absolutely amazing. The view of the lake from the lobby is stunning as you enter the hotel. The staff here treat their guest like royalty and would like to thank them for giving top notch service all-round the hotel. My wife and I found our room very clean, comfortable and the in-room onsen very relaxing. The hotel also has an amazing common area waterworld pool section and private gender specific onsens which I highly recommend taking advantage of during your stay. The breakfast buffet food was delicious with an abundant of options to satisfy anyone's food craving needs.
