Lowered Expectation Motel Stay
We needed to keep in mind for our stay that this is a motel and to keep low expectations. The bed was clean and we slept fine. There were no furniture in the room other than the bed to put our bags down, but plenty of empty space in the room. The room was extremely dark with 1 window and only a couple lights. We could hear snoring from the neighboring room, so sound proofing was pretty minimal. The breakfast was mostly carbs with some hard boiled eggs and a jar of peanut butter added for protein.

Nice property, renewed rooms, comfy bed. Breakfast area and lobby were pretty, lots of books to look at. Breakfast was good, waffle maker, eggs in addition to usual continental stuff. Staff was kind and helpful. Location is on a main road, but it wasnt very busy.

Clean, spacious rooms with cooktop and refrigerator. The best part for me was the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners. When I inquired about EV charging stations nearby ( our rental car was an EV and we were legitimately concerned about having enough power for our return trip) the owner actually loaned us his personal charger to use overnight. You won't find that level of generosity at a big chain hotel. Will definitely stay here anytime we're in Manchester.

I would have loved sheers or blinds in addition to the opaque curtains as the room is not well lit with fixtures and the main window looks directly on the parking lot. Also there were a few small upkeep issues—rips in curtain and broken curtain rings; the towel/grab bar in the shower about to pull away from wall.
