Zero sleep in 48 hours… rethink your stay here
DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU PLAN ON SLEEPING!!! Unless you can sleep through a music festival right outside your window, you won’t get any. The hotel itself was ok. Staff were nice. Breakfast average with not much choice. Bed quite comfortable. Bedding could have been better with a blanket or doona. The worst part of this place is the club/bar across the road. Loud music is played ALL night. It went until 5am. Then started up again around lunchtime. I could not get any sleep at all at this place and was so happy to leave. I was not warned about this. Had I known, I would have stayed elsewhere. Beware!!!

We found the hotel itself to be ok- not amazing, but not the worst. King sized bed we booked was not available, but 2 queens were ok. Beware this location if you want a good nights sleep (especially a room on front of hotel)- the bar across the street had extremely loud music playing until 5:00 in the morning and sleep was impossible.

Hotel is with in walking distance of Marnia, shopping, and clubs. There is a loud bar/restaurant across the street. Over all if you just need somewhere to crash every night then this is your hotel.

It’s your standard Marriott Fairfield and the property is exactly what you expect if you’re a Marriott member. The location is a 10 minute walk to the wharf, beaches, Walmart and the grocery store. The surrounding area is safe just a few deserted lots with graffiti and trash, but if you can look past those minor issues. You’ll enjoy your stay.

It rained Friday which I totally understand the pool being closed. Saturday morning we went to go to the pool they told us not ready. Well ok they put the furniture back out. We are sitting waiting. They said nothing to us. Went to ask well we have to put chemicals in.Ok waiting again. Waited for7/8hrs. Finally I quess after we kept asking they finally let us in.Should have ready Sat morning it was sunny and hot.
