The room was clean. The fan in our room was pretty loud. There is a weird smell in the lobby that is very off-putting. Very eco-friendly, glass cups in rooms and in the dining area.
Breakfast was poor. I tried the blueberry muffin, was ok but had small hard pieces in it. The previous replies to reviews said no ability to have any hot food. If this is so, there is another counter with an unused container for more muffins, where they could expand their cereal options (cheerios and granola only).
I had boiled eggs, those are standard for any hotel. The fruit salad was those you get in the little containers, and for some reason it was super acidicy. Gross. No hot breakfast, maybe try to upgrade to fresh fruit, smaller batch so not a lot of waste in low season.
My last thing is that there is a 48hr cancellation policy. Everywhere else is 24hr right now when things are slower. We stayed at a better quality hotel (price was lower) and they had the until check-in cancellation, and another 24hr that was amazing for less. So just watch for the 48hr if you book way ahead like we did. Wanted to switch to something with a pool, and we had just passed the 48hr mark, which was unfortunate for the price.
***11:04 housekeeping opened the door. Checkout isn't until 12. Do they communicate with the front desk?
***Came back 5 minutes later, seeing when we were leaving. Tried to tell her checkout was at 12, called her supervisor(?) over, they asked if we were leaving soon, so we just left.
