If you want seclusion, a tropical feel, an extremely friendly and responsive staff, an incredibly clean room(s) and reasonable pricing then this is the place for you. We haven't stayed anywhere else on San Pedro Island, but still believe this has to be the best place there. We just loved it and it is the only place we will stay when we go back.

This property is an absolute gem. There is such pride in the staff in keeping the hotel beautiful and immaculate and the service was exceptional. The location in San Pedro can’t be beat and great restaurants are so easy to get to. There are many close groceries for you to pick up certain items if needed. When we return to Belize…this is where we plan to stay, always!

Barely made it home before I felt obligated to come tell everyone about this hidden treasure! As much we I would like to keep this secret to myself, everyone coming to San Pedro needs to know about this resort. Room are clean, resort is absolutely stunning, great location. But the staff, wow.

This place is wonderful. Quiet in a busy area. Felt completely safe, comfortable and the staff are all excellent to work with. Rooms have all you need and little perks like free bike or kayak use. We were here for my daughter’s birthday and they had a great treat to help celebrate. Would recommend.

Perfect 3bd villa on the beach!

We had a great experience at Xanadu. I loved that it was on the beach, but also had an in the rainforest feel. The staff's hospitality and service were excellent! They maintained the beach well, one of the few resorts nearby without mounds of sea grass piled up, which really elevated the appearance and experience since it gets stinky. They arranged golf carts and excursions, making all logistics coordination easy. The room had everything we needed, even giving us options for bedroom configurations. Central air made us very comfortable and endless bottled/filtered water was nice to have so easily available.

Xanadu is absolutely heavenly. The property is beautiful and well-kept and every single person there was incredibly nice. You feel like you're in the jungle but in a beautiful cozy bed with updated bathrooms, and an incredible heated pool (and I mean HEATED), a hot tub with a killer view of the ocean...exceeds all expectations. Drinks are amazing, just know there is no restaurant on site, but you can easily walk to multiple ones.

The grounds gave you the feel of being in the Caribbean. It was a very calm and relaxing resort. The suites were very roomy and had everything you needed. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to returning again.

A beautiful serene getaway

Fabulous grounds! It feels like a jungle getaway. The pool, hot tub and beach area were super relaxing. We snorkled a few times and the boat picked us up right at our dock. You can walk down the beach to town for dinner. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The actual units were fabulous too. We prepared some meals and ate then on our large balcony. We would stay here again!

Lovely Villa. Pool was gorgeous. Private dock and beach. Away from the busyness of San Pedro but close enough to dining and grocery with golf carts to rent if you want to explore more of San Pedro. Gorgeous view out our window. Very happy we chose to stay here. Excellent staff also.

The staff were welcoming and it was a hidden paradise. The accommodations were incredible. We had a two floor suite and it was so clean and comfortable. The staff helped to ensure that we were comfortable and acclimated to the area and how to get around. Plenty of places to eat and venture to. We also did a glass bottom boat ride that was arranged by the resort staff and the boat picked us up at the end of the dock. Incredible!!! We will definitely go back again.

Xanadu was the perfect place for our family of 5 to stay and we will 100% stay there again when we go back. ALL staff was friendly and more than accommodating. Our 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath was perfect and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook when we rented out the grill on the beach. They handle all of our excursions with ease. We rented a 6 passenger golf cart through the resort and had a minor issue with it not starting, but they were on site to fix it within minutes. The pictures don't do justice. Highly recommend Xanadu. Oh, and we originally had two twin beds in the kids room but after they say my 3 kids pushed the two beds together, they took it upon themselves to switch them out and provide them with a king bed. They were soooo excited!

This lovely resort was a dream come true. The grounds were immaculate, the staff was lovely, and the location quiet and safe. We stayed for almost a week with our 7 year old. We had a unit with two bedrooms and a kitchen. We walked to the grocery and bakery, and several close restaurants. There are diving shops in walking distance as well. For a few days we rented a golf cart, and explored Secret Beach and a few other spots in town. We had a private boat tour where our son was able to snorkel, fish, and look for manatees. Thank you for such a memorable vacation!

Xanadu Island Resort sets themselves apart with top notch customer service and cleanliness at the resort. We were welcomed from the minute we got there until we left. They arrange every detail for you so you have an amazing experience. The golf cart rentals are significantly cheaper going thru the resort to rent. They also booked several excursions and arrange transportation for activities, as well as taxis to and from the airport when you arrive and leave. Grocery stores are a few minutes walk. We got a 2 bed/bath with kitchen and made breakfast in our villa. We will definitely return in the future!

Xanadu’s motto is a bit of luxury in harmony with nature [paraphrasing]. This is absolutely true. The resort is so well kept & the suites have everything you’ll need for a stay! I was so happy when they told me they’d have a pack n play ready in the room so we wouldn’t need to bring one from home for our baby! The process for renting bikes, kayaks, etc is effortless and the front desk is very helpful in booking activities and providing recommendations. Oh! And the pool. And the hot tub! And the beautiful string lights wrapped around festive palm trees. And a great bar! You’ll never want to leave.
