This was the single most spectacular location we’ve ever seen. Very tropical grounds. Water is gorgeous. Beaches are very private & beautiful. The food is a huge issue. Only one place to have dinner for two resorts & not only is the pricing exorbitant but food was terrible. Tip is included in everything so no incentive to work. Service is fair at best. Only place for breakfast too & it opens at 8:00. No tea or coffee till 8:30-8:45. Maintenance & cleanliness of bungalows is just acceptable. The one person we loved was Lynn at the trust bar. She was so friendly, went above & beyond & did an outstanding job. The day she was off NO ONE took her place & she came back to a mess. Peace & plenty beach bar was nice & we liked having lunch there. It closed at 4:45 so dinner there was out.

Amazing stay.
A little piece of heaven.,We stayed at Kahari in a beachfront room. It was amazing from start to finish. The setting is spectacular, we had the beautiful beach mostly to ourselves. Lots of loungers and space. Loved our room with the wrap around screened porch and watching the sunrise from our bed. The room was very well equipped, bed comfortable and there was a great maid service. We liked having the little kitchen to make hot and cold drinks, snacks etc. We spent most of our days on the beach dipping in and out the crystal clear water which is such a gorgeous blue. We had lunches and cocktails at The Peace and Plenty beach club two minutes away, particularly enjoyed the mahi mahi sandwich and Conch ceviche. We went for hikes around the island and long walks on the deserted beaches. Kayaks, paddle boards, snorkels all available to use. We were well looked after by the friendly staff and very sad to leave. The only downside was the price of the evening meals in The Beacon but the food was delicious! If you want a peaceful relaxing stay on a dreamy beach this is for you.

Navada the property manager helped us with everything during our stay. He was amazing. Also Ashva set up a very fun Kareoke night for us and they both made our stay very special. We will be coming back. The staff and everyone that worked at Kahari were super friendly. If you want a secluded island type feel. Kahari is the place

Gorgeous beach…everything else needs improvement
2 main problems…the food at the only dinner restaurant on the property Beacon was not good and very expensive. Many mishaps occurred…no room safe, no coffeemaker, ( even though listed as part of the room) no snorkel equipment even though we were promised it would be available when we made reservation. We spent a lot of time the first day trying to secure equipment for the rest of our stay. Staff is frequently not available. Gorgeous beach and lovely rustic cottages

Beautiful resort, location and views are amazing. Crystal blue water and private beach where you can snorkel, take a kayak or just unwind. Room was clean, cozy and we had the best view. Outdoor private shower was really cool.

A pretty picture can only go so far....
I have put this off for about as long as I can to allow for my emotions to cool off from the amount of money, time, vacation days from work, everything that was invested in this trip by choosing to vacation to Exuma and stay at Kahari resort. I strongly, strongly advise to not travel here if you are someone who is looking for service. Whether it be good or just decent would have been a little more tolerable. This place is desolate for service, care, or anything of that sort. On the first night there after +12hrs of travel, we were informed for my husband, myself, and our 3 yr old that would be not be able to eat dinner at the only restaurant on the resort due to no reservation made prior - even though they were aware of our check in many many days prior. I understand that they cannot contact everyone prior to arrival to ask about reservations if this is how they operate, but since this is how they operate be prepared to literally be turned away. We had to beg for food for our toddler because the $8 pringles in the mini bar was not going to cut it, trust me I tried. It was one challenge after the other with this place, once we were finally able to dine at the restaurant it was mediocre. Once we decided to venture into town realizing the staff at the resort don't care and don't want to be of any service truly, we still had to beg for a table for dinner at a local restaurant. Don't expect to order what you'd like either, tables next to you may be able to because they bribe

Beautiful boutique hotel, stunning view, charming staff, one restaurant on site with a very limited menu but rooms are having a fridge an a microwave. You can bring some food items with you before going to the island.

We loved our time at Kahari! We stayed in Villa 6, and it had the perfect view of the beach. There was a screened in wrap around porch where we could see the sunrise and sunset. The weather was perfect, and we kept our french doors open at night to listen to the ocean. The staff were amazing! Lamon, the manager was always there to answer any questions, and was very accommodating. Nicole was an excellent server in the restaurant, and Alvin and Crissy were the best bartenders at the Peace and Plenty beach bar. The water and beaches were perfect. We snorkeled right off the beach! We took the kayaks around the corner to Chat and Chill for their pig roast- delicious! We also kayaked past Chat and Chill to the blue hole/mystery cave for more diving. We will be back- one of our best vacations ever!

8/10 Very good

The property was beautiful and the views from the rooms were amazing. We really enjoyed our stay at Kahari, but there were a few things we weren’t necessarily aware of until a few days into our trip that I think would be valuable for other travelers. First: there are a ton of mosquitoes around in the morning and then starting around dusk— do NOT forget bug spray. Get it when you arrive to avoid having to go back to the main island to purchase. Second: food/drinks are expensive here. We had a good meal at the beacon, but were shocked at an almost $300 dinner bill. Same goes for cocktails (~$15 each). We went to the grocery store for snacks and alcohol the next day, and several travelers did the same, so plan for that. Third: everything closes down between 5-8pm every night. If you’re looking for nightlife (or even a bar open past 8) this is probably not the place for you. It was beautiful and soooo peaceful, but a few days into our stay we found ourselves growing a little bored in the evenings.

The property sits on a island that has beautiful views of the ocean. The cottages are very unique and spacious. The staff is very helpful, courteous and helpful. The customer service is exceptional. The chef for the restaurant (The Beacon) is a 5 Star chef. The food was top of the line, so we ate dinner their every night. I would recommend spending time at this resort, we will be coming back here soon

The beach couldn’t have been more beautiful. The staff was amazing. Lamon did everything he could to make our stay the best it could be. Chocolate did a great job keeping our drinks full at the beach bar. The rooms were great the only complaint is that we wished they were just a touch bigger.
