I did the reservation a couple of months before my departure. When I arrived at the gate of the Lodge, I was told that this is a residence not a Lodge and was told to go away. Can you imagine you travelled all the way from Canada to Zambia with a reservation in your hand and been told upon arrival at the Lodge to go away!

Total SCAM!
I'll tell you about the stay - its is a short review because the hotel does not actually exist, so I didn't actually stay there. Luckily I found somewhere else in the vicinity - no easy task in the middle of the nightie Kitwe. Luckily Hotels.com did cooperate and refund me and hopefully now they have now taken the "hotel" down from their site. Word of warning - check out the property reviews on other sites before booking. Although the building DID exist it is NOT a hotel and it seems that the owner of the house (or person living there) is perpetrating a scam.
