The staff here were very sweet but disorganised. We could rarely find anyone on reception and at first we were told that the advertised free breakfast was not included. We asked again the next day and they confirmed that we were staying for 4 nights and that we could have breakfast included… the food was nice when we did get it. No one cleaned our room for the entire time we were there so we ended up taking the bin down ourselves. There was a small kitchen but we didn’t use it as there was no soap to wash up. Overall ok for the price for just a few nights in San Pedro!

They don’t use Expedia so there was no room reserved for us so in this case Expedia and this hotel were both useless.

It was a beautiful property, but when I came in the office manager wanted more money then what was listed on expedia. I heard this same routine repeated with every set of travelers that came in. He claimed there was a mistake on Expedia, but each time the price seemed to increase. So I'm not sure if there really was a mistake or it was a scam but I wouldn't trust their pricing on here. Also their phone number isn't connected any more so the expedia agent couldn't get ahold of them. The restaurant was nice and the view from the roof was lovely.

I liked it was in the quiet street, lots of options to eat around. It was affordable for what you got. Lovely roof top with a view, kitchen available.

This is a quieter hotel that's to the back of a property. At the front of the property is a restaurant and access to the main route through town. The rooms are quaint, with a private bathroom for each, and access to their 3rd story rooftop terrace. The staff is attentive but mostly unseen as they're busy running the hotel. They offer great internet connection and comfy beds. As far as location, it's ideal, as it's a little farther from the town center. There are tiendas and restaurants all around, with a massage center just across the street, Spanish school nearby, and is close to access to the lake that isn't as busy as downtown. Overall a great stay that supports local Guatemalan's!

Bad management
When I got to the hotel there was no reservation. I suppose the good news is that it was pay at property so I wasn’t charged but this is holiday high season and I could have been stranded. Luckily a Canadian woman saw me looking bereft and led me to an extra room at her apartment complex so it was ok.

I made a reservation but to my surprise when I spoke to the staff they said such reservation didn't exist although I showed them the proof... What's the purpose of having your hotel listed here if you are not going to check it regularly?

Ellos no van a honrar una reservación.
Tuvimos reservaciones pero ellos las dieron nuestras reservaciones a otras personas. We had reservations through hotels.com, but they gave her reservations away, and we do not have rooms.
