at check in you will be asked to pay for your room in advance which is fine, we were then asked for €100 security deposit on the room by card or cash, I asked if they did not just hold my card details which they said no, they actually charge €100 which they will refund when you leave (this could be a problem for some guests if on a budget), we had eight rooms booked for a family gathering, we arrived in the bar at 8.30pm, food was served till 9pm, we asked at 8.45pm to order and were rudely told the kitchen was closed. I ordered a tea for an elderly family member and again was rudely told the kitchen was closed that they have to drink tea from a paper cup. The bar then closes at 12 with no residents bar option. We vacated our room Sun am but didn’t receive our deposit as was told it can take up to 2 working days to reach our account
