Harrison’s Cave is a natural wonder of Barbados that features impressive towering columns and shining stones with an active stream. When you visit, the stalagmites and stalactites will be particularly impressive, and they're still growing.
The massive central cavern in this cave network, known as the Great Hall, measures nearly 50 feet high. The interior temperature is around 80 degrees, so it can actually be cooler than the outside if you're visiting the island during the summer. You'll find this cave near the centre of the island on the west side of Saint Thomas.

Bushy Park go-karting offers fun for the whole family with safe yet speedy karts that race along a well-maintained circuit track. The karts use 4-stroke 270cc engines that can reach speeds of up to 50 mph, which feels pretty fast when you're that close to the ground.
When visiting with kids, they'll be using a much slower kind of kart to assure that everything's safe. Specifically, kids' karts are 160cc and feature a maximum 20 mph top speed. Additionally, their karts can be remotely shut off. You can find this adventure in Gasking on the east side of the island.

Folkestone Marine Park and Museum is an artificial reef and recreational zone that lets you and your little ones explore what lies beneath the blue waters offshore. The reef itself was formed by sinking the Stavronikita, a ship that now rests less than a half-mile from the beach.
While exploring the reef requires scuba diving gear, you can take in the inshore reef by snorkelling. This is the more popular option for families with small children, as you can see a variety of marine life, including fish, sea anemones, and coral. You'll find it all along the western coast of Holetown.
