There are 3 main local markets, along with smaller local markets spread throughout the city. Most retail shops both large and small accept credit cards. It's best to exchange money at banks, especially large amounts. On weekends or after banking hours, you can change your money at currency exchange counters. Traveller's cheques can be exchanged at banks for a small fee.
