Cosy Country Hotel
Very clean cosy and comfortable hotel.
The Breakfast was excellent
Tea making facility and very nice biscuits in the room. A full length mirror would have made it perfect.
15 minutes from Bridport via some rather narrow lanes.
Nice to have a reasonable check in time so we could enjoy a drink in the garden area

This is a lovely quaint country pub with a lovely pub garden and grounds. Very nice room - may be small for some given the nature of the old building. Breakfast good. Although only 10 minutes from Bridport it feels out of the way as down very narrow windy country lanes.

Lovely stay food was excellent. Bar hours a little restrictive and the location although lovely the lanes were a bit intimidating if you don’t know the area.

Lovely pub, great location and friendly staff
We stayed at the marquis for one night as we were attending a wedding nearby. We had a lovely stay everyone was really friendly and helpful. The room was really nice with a comfortable bed and great view, and a tasty breakfast was included the next day. We would highly recommend staying if you're in the area, the location is fantastic and though we were only there for a short visit we hope to come back some day to spend some more time exploring the area!

We like the location very much.
We were out both evenings, so we didn’t experience the pub itself, which was a shame.
The bedroom was a bit dark. The mattress was not comfortable, with a bit of a ridge in the middle!
That is different to the classic old mattress with a gulley in the middle!
Breakfast was excellent.
We really liked the landlady, who couldn’t have done more for us.
