Get a real hotel with a 24/7 front desk
Room was good size and clean. Difficult to find and no one ever around. Front desk is not staffed even during the limited time they say. Very seldom anyone was there.

Totally ok
The room was fine, it’s a 1st floor on a busy street so a bit noisy. The staff were shouting for about an hour while cleaning at 10am which was not helpful when I really needed a rest. The shower was small and a bit janky, the pillows were hard, but the mattress was nice; I could have used an extra blanket. The electrics seemed faulty (my room had a broken lamp and lights that flickered) Otherwise it was clean, professional and felt safe. The included breakfast is not actually onsite it’s a cafe voucher that I never received. They let me store bags all day after checking out which was handy!

Just what I wanted -- convenient to train station and airport bus, and all transport. Not with all the amenities of a hotel, but reasonably priced, clean, if all that's wanted is an ensuite room.. Follow directions for check-in. Staff available by text and always in the morning -- friendly and helpful -- mateo in particular.

We had some confusion during check in due to our booking the reservation in English and the Hotel using a translation. The wording on Expedia was a queen and a twin. Really it was a queen OR 2 twins. Once sorted out, everything was great. The hotel had nice size rooms and was exceptionally clean. It was also convenient for our tour pick-up the next day. Breakfast was pastry and coffee, which worked for us. The staff was helpful and stored our luggage after check out as well.

Very disappointing stay
1st of all, as soon as we arrived at the door it downed on us that this was not a Hotel but rather a place that rented rooms. As you come through the front door there are 3 big litter bins on either side of the entrance. The reception was on the first floor of the building. We believe that people resided in the building. We had booked a twin bed but were given a double and when we told the receptionist that we booked a twin bed, we were informed they did nor have twin bedrooms, only standard double. The bathroom although inside the bedroom, was as on a mezzanine where we had to climb 8 steep steps to reach it. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. We were there for 4 days only fortunately, and the room was as only cleaned up and tidied up on the 2nd day The breakfast was not on site. We were taken to a café on a side street and breakfast consisted of a coffee and a croissant or a brioche. We had to sit outside and it as not warm. We had booked place based on the good reviews 90% saying how excellent the place was. Looking outside the front of the building, it appears that there was a fire in 2 rooms above ours at some point in the near past as burning marks on the windows and walls are still visible. Having said all this, the location is very central with good transport links. Also Mario the receptionist although in another part of the building was always reachable via WhatsApp and was always polite and helpful.

A Challenging Experience - Go Elsewhere
This small hotel is convenient location near the train station but experience was a challenge. It is upstairs in a heavily secured and locked building and there was no one was there to let us in although we had been asked when we would arrive and we were right on time. We only got in through the imposing exterior doors (in the rain) when someone else opened it. The actual entrance to the hotel was not marked and we waited at the door for someone to let us in for some time. We finally got a texted access code to get into the hotel and our room key was on the front desk. There were no apologies from the desk clerk/owner about the difficulties we encountered getting into the place when he did come in. Room is minimal, lighting poor, internet weak, breakfast was the worst of our trip. Coffee and tea arriving in flimsy plastic cups. Don’t stay here.

8/10 Very good

Stayed for one night on way home from the Amalfi Coast. Very convenient location next to the main train station which also has an airport shuttle bus service. We arranged exact time for arrival and there was someone there to greet us. Our only complaint was the sign for the rooms wasn’t that clear so we ended up outside the wrong apartments when we first arrived.

Great rooms and great location at good price
Great location, clean rooms with plenty of space, good bathrooms, electric blinds, easy to use air-con. Once we were in it was excellent. The rooms are not labelled at all so we had some uncertainty finding the right place even when we were there. Be sure to text your arrival time so you can be met, then all is good (since there are no staff permanently posted at the premises). Once in, we loved it.

2/10 Poor

Good rooms, disappointing service.
Good Rooms, Honestly Terrible service. Unfortunately our flight was delayed (and I warned them 6 hours in advance) so we did not end up arriving until late at night 12. We get to the hotel (there are no signs or ability to get in) pass the front entrance so had to wait until someone left the larger building to even get to where the hotel "front desk" is. Arrive at the main door, call and no answer. When we finally get in touch with the hotel, they send us the code to the first door. Great, but the other door behind it is locked and they forgot to leave the key. They said it was hidden in a spot, checked and it was not. So I then had to wait for the person to come let us in because he forgot to leave the key and was told it would be 20 minutes (Italian time so it was actually an hour and 10 minutes have passed and its 2:30 am) to be finally let in. I then wake up to a knocking at 10am, because apparently the hotel.com app is wrong and check out is at 10 am and not 11 like it had said. The Free Breakfast is a coffee and croissant at a bakery in the station. The frustrating part of all of this was it was completely avoidable. They could have left the key, the could have sent us the code hours before when we told them that our flight was delayed a few hours. Sadly all the things went wrong and we were left waiting.
