Check-in person is not customer oriented and very slow with his kid in the lobby. On the first stay, one room smelled very musty bad, missing a lamp shade and the toilet paper holder. Floor needed mopping in bathroom. Remote for TV batteries dead and sugar for coffee was hard as a rock. The other room the door lock was loose, the door needed painting, and the chair had spills all over it. The grout needed a redo. The breakfast offering was appalling and there was no sugar for the coffee. We went to McD for coffee. On our return stay our room was not made, an embarrassing mess all over the floor. Was asked to wait for housekeeping to clean it and I asked for another room. The next room smelled musty, and the bed was not made properly, unfinished. The other room door would open twice out of 20 times. It took three trips to the office to convince the clerk to come down and check, and it was the same. He asked us to wait to clean the dirty room we did not want to stay in as maintenance removed the window to get into the room with the bad lock. We were done with this experience, and I went to the office, handed the key back and told the clerk to issue a credit and we left. I understand not to expect much with a value hotel, but Wyndham should be embarrassed to have their name associated with this franchise.
