A very OK hotel
I stayed a week here while I was in town for a conference. We got a twin bed room, and the two twins were pushed together like a king bed. This was great, as I was traveling with my husband, but if I had booked the room with anyone else it would have been awkward, with little room to push the beds apart. The wifi was very slow in the evenings - my laptop couldn't seem to stay online. Overall, though, it was a good value with nice service and good (included) breakfast.

Pleasant Stay
Much nicer inside than Google maps suggest from the outside. Its situated just at the end off the main 'High' street through Uppsala so very convenient for the town center but still very quiet. It backs onto the famous Linne Gardens, so if you get a room with a garden view this is what you will see - should be very nice in the summer with all the flower displays in bloom. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Comfortable larger rooms and although not a very modern building its still, mostly, in good order/decoration. It has a restaruant and bar if you don't want to explore the many close by restaurants and bars in Uppsala.

I was able to visit places of interest on foot. Everything I needed was close to hand and walking round the city was a pleasure.

A nice stay in Uppsala
This is a very nice hotel with friendly staff, especially a young lady at the reception. Hotel is located next to a botanic garden named after a famous prof. Linne. Windows from the breakfast room allow a peek into the park. Room was furnished in a simple Scandinavian fashion. Cleanliness of room and hotel was acceptable. Quality of service was at a very high level. Breakfast was good with choices of cereal, classic buffet and fruits.

Pleasant
The hotels location was quite a distance from anything worth visiting. We went during midsummer festival which we never knew about until we got there and literally everything was closed, try to research that time of year. The hotel was nice. pleasant staff, clean and comfortable and good for the price. I would happily stay again hopefully next time everything is open.

Nice Central Hotel
It's a nice central hotel to Uppsala. The hotel staff were able to give great recommendations and walking directions to Gamla Uppsala. The only two downsides were the noise and shower. It was midsummer's eve and people were shouting from inside the hotel and behind it. This continued between 1-4 AM as drinking continued. Unfortunately, there didn't seem to be much sound dampening between the rooms. Additionally the doors slammed. The only other minor inconvenience was the shower which was open to the whole bathroom and made the toilet wet which required drying. All in all, I believe the loud sounds were isolated to this instance, and I would recommend this hotel based off of our positive experience with the concierge (Felipe).

Minnesotan's Praise for an Uppsala Hotel
A charming olde style Swedish hotel next to the park and the Museet Linne and a half mile walk from the new train station. A delightful place.

So so hotel.
This hotel was rather run down. It needs some serious upgrading. I was told it used to be a dorm and it feels like it. But a dorm from the 1960s. The personnel were nice and there was a decent breakfast.

Nice hotel close to the city centre
First Hotel Linne is a nice hotel located not too far from the city centre and shops. Staff were nice and welcoming. Great tasty breakfast was included. We also tried out the fish spa experience (ZoUL Fish Spa) at the Hotel. It was a lovely experience and the staff member there was extremely lovely.

Hotel was comfortable for our one night stay. Just a few blocks from the main sites and center of town, all easily walkable. The room was on the small side, but well appointed. The shower in the bath was poorly designed and water went everywhere, but otherwise our stay there was very pleasant.

cosy staying for a night or two
This is a nice hotel located nicely near the riverbank restaurants and city center. It's possible to walk also from railway station, but use a bag with wheels. Single room was OK, though could be a bit warmer by heating and by decoration. But bed was super!

Very basic hotel
This was a very basic hotel, with everything dating seemingly from the 70s. Bathroom was OK and new. Free Internet. Breakfast buffet was awesome. But all in all, it was not luxurious at all and I would not call it a 4 star hotel. There was a construction site nearby.

Just a room but good breakfast.
The room was just that. A small room and a small bathroom. The free wi-fi and great breakfast were a big plus. The Hotel was within easy walking distance of the church and great restaurants. And right next door to the Linnes Gardens (our window opened up to it)
