The pyramid @ grand oasis is nowhere close to a 5 star property. The rooms are old with no special amenities, just the basic ones. Everything from the soap to the room layout was dissapointing. The rooms look bigger in the pictures and nicer (as you’d expect a 5-star resort to have) but they are not! The beds are not comfy and you will know that as soon you sit on them. The black band gives you access to a couple nice restaurants and thats the only time we felt that it was useful. Rest of the experience is pretty similar to that of the blue band (basic). I liked that everything was convenient as far as the all-inclusiveness. The other people there for the weekend made it fun to stay at the hotel and make use of the all-inclusive perks.

First I’d like to say, it takes A LOT for me to get upset and/or leave a negative review, even if I feel wronged in some way. For the most part, I held my tongue on the negative things my husband and I noticed for sake of trying to enjoy our stay. Now I MUST say, this has been the worst stay I’ve experienced!!! For starters, it is frustrating that the closing of the hotel was NOT disclosed prior to booking our stay. Apparently the hotel was closing down the same day we were scheduled to check out and according to the hotel, your company was aware of their plan to close, at least 4 months in advance. Had we been made aware of this up front, we could have made a different choice on where we wanted to stay. We booked for 6 days here. The first few days, although not the best food and drinks, seemed OKAY. 3 days in, service really started to decline. The service became more lack luster, food being served cold and bland; drinks were served watery and when you asked for a remake or something better, attitudes were given by the service members, not all of

We paid for the upgrade which was suppose to include room service everyday. Our room did get made up everyday but our minibar never got updated even after we called and asked for it to be restocked. We are not drinkers so the only thing we used was the waters, chips and some chocolate. Often times we would try and call and no one would answer. we would go down to the desk and still they did not restock.

The Grand Oasis Sens is closing on May 29, 2019 to undergo renovation and open under new management. Had we known this when booking we would not have selected this property. We paid $400 extra for an upgraded room with ocean view and King bed but got 2 double beds facing an adjacent hotel an the Air Conditioning did not work. When asked to move rooms we were told the resort was sold out but the place was empty, we have photos to prove how vacant the property was. Then we were moved to another room on our last night. Half the restaurants were closed, spa closed, bars closed and dangerous construction everywhere, workers ripping out the ceiling in hallways and lobby while guests walk by. The staff did not care about any customer requests. Absolute Horrible Experience!!

The property is lovely and very well kept. Lots to do and see. However, we were very surprised by how rude some of the waitstaff was to us.
