We had a view over one of the pool on the 3rd floor. The rooms are in different buildings which we liked as restaurants were in several of them. Buffet food was good but particularly liked the street food area. Burgers, Italian and tapas. Our room did have a drains issue smell at times in room 1353. We put a wet towel over the shower waste and that stopped it.

It’s full of Pale 16 year old boys from northern England away from their moms for the first or 2nd time , lacking class in any possible way. on top of that , the receptionist are unwilling to consider late check outs and seems like they haven’t been Hyatt trained . hotel and rooms are fine , the breakfast is 2 out of 6 stars , always measure a hotel breakfast by their quality of juice . this is the most synthetic juice in all variations I have ever tried!

The hotel in general was decent enough wit three swimming pools and couple of bars and the hotel is about 150m to the beach. The room we’ve got was not very well maintained( for unknown reason we got an handicap room) no chairs to sit, Water from the shower flooded everywhere in the bathroom, one of our bed was wobbly and unstable. House keeping didn’t change the bed sheets for 5 nights and didn’t care to fill up the coffee/tea bags as well as you hear people talking and sometimes screaming out side of the room. we asked for an upgrade/ change but the answer was its fully booked. The staff are pleasant. Need better

Wonderful resort. Room was a bit small but very clean and modern! Great pools but it is a 5-10 min walk to the beach as the hotel does not have beach access. We loved the entertainment but the hotel restaurants we tried (Market Café andLa Trattoria) were just ok. Would stay again and would recommend!

A lot of smiles, but no common sense

In general it’s a fine hotel. The hotel is big, but they have many areas, so it doesn’t feel chaotic. The staff however feels new and untrained. A lot of smiles, but no common sense and feeling of the bigger picture - and then a lot of small things that makes it feel less luxurious, eg you have to put a deposit for your beach towels, you can only get helpful answers on what’s going on in the hotel through the app and if you want a sunbed by the pool you have to “reserve” it from early morning with your towels.

Great location but disappointing service

The hotel itself was nice but had no atmosphere what so ever. The staff were mostly miserable and made no effort to engage. General service was also sub standard. The food was mediocre and even though we were all inclusive, we ended up eating out a lot. Hotel is not fully all inclusive where a lot of premium drinks are extra Great location to beach and town. We have stayed at many all inclusive resorts sadly we will not be returning to this hotel.

The property is nice. Rooms are big and comfortable, good air con. Nice pools. I do have to point out however that it was obvious that the staff were new and no very professional. Reception was not clear on our arrival. Waiters and waitresses were constantly bickering. We speak Spanish so could understand. This should not be happening at a hotel and certainly not in a 4*. Our room was dusty when we entered. It had obviously been cleaned maybe a few weeks previous but by the time we arrived dust had accumulated. When we arrived at the pool in the mornings all cups etc from previous day were still left out and were not picked up by the staff until midday. This was a daily occurrence This is not good and gives a bad impression of the place. The positives I would say was the entertainment was very good. The soul night and Tina turner we liked very much. The food was also good. We like to eat healthy and there were many healthy options available which you don’t always find in all inclusives.

We booked all-inclusive. The check-in experience at the front desk was under-whelming. The computer system was slow had to use paper form. I think the front desk staff was new. Asked if our room was nice and her response was, "I do not know, I hope so." Asked to have my World of Hyatt Membership Number added to the reservation and she did not know what this was, but asked a colleague who did enter it. We entered our room and was met with a moldy, foul smell and the bathroom shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap bottles were 1/2 empty There was a live bug found underneath the pillows on the bed that we disposed of. Dinner the first night, we ate at Market Cafe, the choices of food was very poor, the cod fish had many spines and bones and was very thin, the presentation was not good, we expected more choices, similar to those offered in Mexico. After dinner, we stopped at reception to express our concerns and they made notes in our reservation file electronically that would be directed to the local manager. They told us that the resort did not have another room for us to move to on this day, but maybe tomorrow this could be arranged. The Oceana Seafood Restaurant, is very disappointing - no seafood except for soup. We were downgraded to a Double room which was very clean and did not smell 5 days into our vacation (first available), we were upgraded to preferred status on the 3'rd day allowing access to all. All staff were excellent in their service. Won't return.
