I should have done my research and didn’t know I had to cross the sea to get there. Anyway, the hotel is very clean and new. Friendly staff, nice pool, kept the kids occupied with their game room.
But… getting there was very inconvenient. You have to ride a passenger boat that smells like piss, and it’s packed with people. Very hot when you’re seated inside. Hence, I paid $400 to book the hotel speed boat on my way back to CDO.
Next, Camuiguin is known for their beaches and white islands. Unfortunately this resort does not have a beach and their boats to get to the white island are “under maintenance”, so we’re stuck with the pool.
Now food… the restaurant in front of the sea is better than the hotel restaurant. Also, anything you order from the hotel resto, be prepared to wait 45-60 mins. before you can eat.
All in all, I will not be coming back due to everything being overpriced and inconvenient.
