Good budget hotel but don't arrive out of normal h
Our flight arrived in the early hours of the morning so I made a reservation for the day before to ensure we could check in immediately. I messaged the hotel when i made the booking to advise of this and then again 5 days before I was due to arrive. I paid in advance.
When we arrived at 6am they told us we were down as a no show and the room had been given away. Fortunately someone was checking out early so we were able to.check in after waiting about 45 minutes for them to clean the room.
We weren't offered tea, coffee or anything while we waited.
When we went out a few hours later the reception staff were very helpful with finding us somewhere to change our money.
But when we came.back we were told we had to change rooms because we weren't in the room we'd booked.
So, the guest house is very clean and the rooms seem recently decorated. But the service received around our booking was disappointing.
