Great hotel and area in Barcelona

The Hotel HCC Taber was a great place to stay in Barcelona. It is close to Plaza Catalunya (4-5 blocks) with many restaurants and shops in-between. Casa Battlo is one block away. It was easy to find Ubers/Taxis and get around. The hotel was comfortable and the staff were all very nice. We particularly loved the breakfast. It has so many hot and cold options, including great coffee. It was a great area to be based in for a visit to Barcelona

Perfect Base to Explore Barcelona on Foot

We had a great stay at this hotel in Barcelona. The location is fantastic – just steps away from Passeig de Gràcia and Casa Batlló, and within walking distance of almost everything we wanted to see. It made exploring the city super easy and enjoyable. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were cheerful and welcoming, which gave a great first impression. Our room was impeccably clean, and the soundproof windows were a huge plus – even though our room faced a busy avenue, it was incredibly quiet inside. There were a couple of minor issues, though. The minibar wasn’t cooling properly, which could be a problem for guests wanting to store water or drinks bought from outside. Also, the air conditioning wasn’t working – it only blew hot air. I assume this was due to a winter heating-only setting, but during our stay, the weather was already warm. We had to open the windows for about 30 minutes before bed to cool the room down, which worked fine thanks to the excellent sound insulation. Lastly, the TV didn’t have internet access, which could be improved to enhance the in-room entertainment options. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel for its location, cleanliness, and friendly service – with just a few small improvements, it could be perfect.

We absolutely loved this hotel. Everything about it was amazing. We had a beautiful woman there to greet us every morning. She was so friendly and helped us so many times with questions we had. We cannot recommend this property any higher. We loved our little terrace we had as well. If we return to Barcelona in future we will definitely be back at HCC Taber for another stay!
