Stayed for 4 nights in May 2025 – Excellent Experience Great location, excellent value for money, and the rooms exceeded expectations for the price paid ( It is expensive in Bergen ). They were clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet – it felt like they were soundproofed, which made for a very relaxing stay. The breakfast was a real highlight. We've stayed in some 5-star hotels, and the breakfast here was genuinely on par with them, thanks to the wide and high-quality selection available. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, and check-in was smooth and hassle-free. Overall, a fantastic stay – I wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend it to others.

After a LONG trip, we dragged into the lobby and Inga was amazing. She upgraded our room (to Accessible - we're old and must have looked awful) with a view over the harbor to Bryggen. The room was quiet, spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was extensive and very good quality with relaxed seating. Central location made extensive walks around the city very comfortable. Happily booked another two nights to recover after our 12-day Hurtigruten voyage.

It is ok and in a very good location. However, rooms are very basic and you need to book cleaning of your room the day before, otherwise they don't clean your room!! Never seen this in any other hotel!

Værelset var lille og med kun lidt plads rundt om sengen, og kun 1 stol, trods værelset er anført til 2 personer, og ingen plads til 1 kuffert, som ved brug, udpakning skulle være i sengen som også skulle være afslapni gs plads, der var meget trangt i værelset. Vi havde ikke brug for egentlig rengøring, men aftalte at håndklæderne blev skiftet, hvilket ikke skete, blev dog udleveret i receptionen om aftenen. Ikke et hotel jeg vil anbefale andre.
