Walls, curtains and bathroom was dirty. The room had a chemical strong scent the whole time which caused headaches. Noise through out the whole night— partying. Horrible not worth 277 for one night !

Uninvited guests in our room
Overall: Terrible. Paid $240/night due to lack of availability in the area. Arrived at the room which had a no smoking sign on the door and it smelled like an ashtry. Bed sheets and pillow cases had black marks stained on them. Overall the room was run down and in poor condition Asked for another room and was told there were non available. Decided to just suck it up as we had stayed in worse aces before. Then just after midnight we were awoken by the sound of scratching - the room was had mice and they were going through our belongings! Brought this up with the front desk and the suddenly had another room available for us. However, my family was so done with the experience that they refused to stay there. Owner initially refused to refund our stay. Contacted Hotels.com and they worked through the problem with the hotel and got us a full refund.

The front desk person was really helpful. The inside of the room was clean, comfortable and updated. The outside needs some sprucing up - paint touch up and figuring a way to contain smoke butts.

Here's the thing, the staff are super friendly and the property is in good shape but there is a "shanty town" directly across the road and we were approached a number of times to purchase narcotics. Until that is gone I would be hesitant to recommend the property.
