Trying to find reasonable cost accommodation in Darwin cbd for 8 nights was hard until i found Capitanos, the room was clean and the air con was icy cold! King bed was comfortable and the foxtell in the room was a nice bonus. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Stayed for a week and really enjoyed ourselves. Retro style hotel with recent refurbishment in the heart of Darwin CBD. Liked the nautical theme of the pool. Very secure. You are in a two-storey building amongst the tall hotels around, but just one-block back from the Esplanade park where there are great views over the harbour. Friendly and helpful staff - thank you!

The property was exactly as described on the website. The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. The property is double storey so if you struggle to get a heavy bag up two flights of steps it would be advisable to ask for a ground floor room when booking.
