This charming 15th century town house is not your everyday holiday home. Situated in the stunning medieval village of Turenne surrounded by the rolling Correze countryside and close to the Lot (6km) and Dordogne (15km) regions there is much to see in close proximity of these much loved destinations. The property is on 3 floors, each being accessed by a château like staircase (unsuitable for people with mobility concerns) exposed stone walls, many original features, antique furniture and hanging tapestries throughout gives one a real sense of going back in time. Turenne, although on the tourist trail, (11th century château open to the public) still maintains a quiet charm without being too inundated by visitors. Collonge - la -Rouges 9km ( most beautiful villages of France) Meysac 11km (swimming pool/ all amenities) Betaille 22kms (aqua park ), Gluges 20km (Canoe hire – river Dordogne), Rocamadour 37km (UNESCO world heritage site, stunning cliff village in natural gorge) and Brive 17km are all worth visiting.
