I have stayed at the Ambassador several times in the past, and keep coming back because 1. it's very centrally located in Sukhumvit Soi 11, close to Nana BTS station, and 2. it has a good standard, and you get your money's worth. The rooms are showing their age, but everything works, and nothing is broken, and there is little noise. Also very clean and spacious, with a great view (from the Sky Wing, at least). Great gym and (deep) pool. I rarely eat at the hotel, but the service seems adequate.
