Shadow of the aqueduct
A great choice of hotel for exploring Segovia. It’s right next to the Roman aqueduct, and you can walk up into the city to see the other attractions. If you arrive at Guiomar station then the local 11 bus drops you off across the road from the hotel. The staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. The room I had was spacious. I was happy with my choice. Very good local restaurant just along the road.

When I went to Segovia the first time years ago, I got off the bus in town, saw this hotel and knew this would be where I’d stay when I returned. It’s the perfect location that allows you to walk through the aqueduct everyday to get to the plaza. We didn’t drive but parking is available. The front desk was super helpful. Rooms were clean, awesome views and large door/window to open to take it all in.

Our room looked right at the aqueduct and some of the old city. If you want that for a view, pick this hotel. It’s simply beautiful to look at! Otherwise, the hotel is good. Nothing fancy, but a well-priced hotel for what you get. It’s located at the bottom of the slopes of the city, so when you are done exploring around, you get to slowly walk back down toward the hotel.

The hotel is in walking distance to all tourist destinations in Segovia. The bus stop is right opposite to the hotel (bus #11 goes to train station -15 min trip). Hotel staff is very friendly and room is very confortable. I’ll definitelly stay in it again when visiting Segovia.
