Poor service and communication
No joining instructions were sent prior to arrival. The resort had no idea of the booking because it was a private apartment rented out on Hotels.com by another company. I had to call to get someone to tell me how to gain access to the apartment. The resort were going to charge me for parking but I showed that the listing stated parking was included. When we got into the apartment there were no towels or bedding. Had to call again. Was told that the listing stated that this was not included. That is not true. I had to go to the resort and ask to rent towels and bedding which cost an additional EU 47 and I had to pay a cash deposit (which I did not have). Then during the stay the hot water tank started making loud noises all night that kept us awake. In the morning the tank had leaked water all over the floor. I turned the electricity supply to the tank off for safety reasons. Informed the management company about the problem. They did not respond. Left very disappointed with the entire experience. This is the worst experience I have had in the many hotels.com bookings I have had over many years.
