Tranquility in the midst of Madras!
the room was perfect for us--close to elevator, view out the window of wildlife and different types of greenery, the room is spacious and clean, the whole building areas smelled clean and fresh, great location, quiet, and good internet service!

Left in the cold
It was nice for the most part but for the price we paid per night there were a few issues that left a very bad taste on my mouth. Upon checkin the receptionist had trouble finding my paid booking which is understandable. Our room was on the 2nd floor and at first glance was very nice looking and comfortable, however, it was a very cold night and as soon as the temperature got too cold we tried to turn on our heat which blew even colder air and was eventually determined to be broken. We notified the front desk and the night lady had us power reset it then said they would let the daytime manager know but never even offered to move us to a working room instead we were given an extra blanket and froze all night. The bext morning the manager said they would jave maintenance come up which never happened she eventually came in and took two seconds to look at it and say what we had told them all night. It was broken. She did move us rooms for our second night but there was no compensation or discount given at all for our $150 frozen evening.

It was an attractive property. Breakfast was great and staff were friendly. We had several issues with the room. When I woke up I discovered that there were stains on the sheet from a smooshed candy that was also still there. We don't eat candy so it didn't come from us. Wish I had noticed it the night before. Then the shower would not drain. We were standing in two inches of water each time we showered even after making sure we had the drain open. Then the toilet clogged first thing that morning. These all stacked up to be disapointing experiences. It should be noted that the TV's we the smallest and and an older version we have seen in a hotel room. The parking area could be better. It was much further away from the main entrance than most hotels. The positives are that the rooms were attractive, hotel area was beautiful, spa and pool were excellent.
