Looks good from the outside but the rooms are old and extremely worn out. There was a big dumpster outside our room so it looks like they are doing renos. Hopefully the upgraded rooms will be better. Pillows are too hard/full. Would be nice if they provided one soft and one full for each occupant to choose from.

Well, check-in was a joke. We watched as the women with the big hair gave people keys for thier room and left us seated there. It was almost 2 o'clock when a male staff member said are you waiting for a room. Magically the room was ready. Very disappointed with the customer service. It was quite obvious that she was making us wait till the last minute. Doors hanging off in the hallway. Will not be returning.

Newly updated room. Only negative is the bed is on wheels so moves easily on floor- not carpet. Someone could easily fall on the floor if not ready for the bed to move. We chose this property for an overnight stop traveling from Brisbane to Sydney and it looked good in the photos. I reality the room was very run down and basic. The bathroom was at least a decade overdue for renovation as it has had numerous repairs (broken soap holder in the shower had just been glued together, the made terrible noises adjusting the water, the hand basin tap fitting wobbled...). The bedside tables tops were worn out, lounge chair was worn out. Only very basic tea, coffee and a few biscuits. No toaster or even a saucer to put a bit of my own fruit on. I understand that they have a restaurant and wound prefer us to pay fro breakfast but I don't want a large large breakfast and just want to make a simple toast and my own favourite jam and the fruit I like, so just a plate and toaster is appreciated, I'm not going to cook. Incidentally, I don't need the wine glasses. In fairness the place was clean, the bed was comfortable and the reception staff was very pleasant to deal with, so the staff working here are doing their best. It's just obvious that this was once a premium motel that is now very tired and should be priced at a 3 star level.

room has mould and mouldy curtains. Room was on main road high noise. Main bed had huge dip and 2 people couldn't sleep one had to sleep in single bed that was rock hard. $25 buffet breakfast was pathetic, sloppy eggs and cold greasy bacon, asked chef to do poached eggs for 2 people, 3 eggs arrived cold and swimming in vinegar water. On check out we were not asked about our stay, just our keys were collected then ignored. defiantly do not recommend. Huge shame for a waterfront property, disappointment plus
