A little gem!
Absolutely fantastic, we had a two night stopover with our dog doing the NC500. Everyone made us feel so welcome. Food was excellent and a good choice. Beautiful location and Dornoch is such a pretty place and the hotel is only a two minute walk from the centre. Great location, great views. Loved it!

CLOSED!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
See photo, this was what we found at 21:30 last night when we tried to check in!! No advance warning, no communication from Hotels.com or the Inn directly. We were left, in the dark, trying to find somewhere to stay.

Good place for one overnight stay
The staff were lovely from the get go and super helpful in showing us around before taking us to our room! ☺️ The bed was super comfy and the breakfast was good other than the bacon that didn’t seem to be cooked much but some people wouldn’t mind this! Unfortunately the water pressure in the bathroom was near to non existent and took us turning the sink tap all the way to get a small dribble out; the shower was very weak also! There was a lot of vibration coming through to our room from the kitchen so be weary of this if you have children as this didn’t stop until close to 11pm! The TV didn’t have great signal and kept cutting out but for a pit stop during the NC500, this property is definitely suitable ☺️

Fine to sleep and good breakfast
Staff is great and very supportive but room was so small so you wouldn't like to spend any time there except the sleep, very very little. Breakfast was good.
