I recently stayed at La Lampara and was disappointed by several aspects of my experience. Upon arrival, we were met with a construction site adjacent to the property—a detail that was not disclosed beforehand. Although the room itself was clean and well-maintained, our mornings were far from peaceful, as we were awakened by loud banging and construction noise from 6 am to 11 am each day. This significantly affected our stay, and I believe the owner should have informed us of the ongoing construction in good faith.
Additionally, the owner was out of town during our visit, which may have contributed to the lack of communication. On the day of checkout, the cleaner abruptly entered our room while I was getting dressed, demanding that we check out in a hurry. This encounter felt incredibly disrespectful and left a sour impression as we departed.
While the property has potential, the lack of transparency and poor customer service left me dissatisfied. I hope management addresses these issues for future guests.
