Great hotel, great price
Beautiful room, very comfortable with a friendly staff in a greet area! Would stay again!

The Ivy Boutique is an excellent hotel. I’m a very picky person and this was exceptional. It was extremely comfortable, clean and modern. Service was great! The only downside was having to wait for Valet. But it was never longer than 10 minutes.

Beautiful place, but lots of things broken
Beautiful looking hotel in a great location. Beautiful bathroom, if only the special features of it worked!... We chose Ivy over another hotel specifically because of the rainfall shower and the deep soaking tub. Me and my wife were really looking forward to using them, however, the hot water in the tub did not work. I brought it to their attention, but then was was told that maintenance checked and said it works but I just wasn't using it correctly. Finally on our last day I complained again in the morning. When I get back in the afternoon, the tub faucet is gone. I ask about it and they say it was broken and need to order a part. On top of that, the rainfall shower wouldn't heat up on one of the days. They did comp us our early check in fee and a breakfast, but that barely covered even a night's stay. We should've picked Aloft next door. Could have been a great stay, but poor maintenance staff and service ruined it. If I'm going to be nitpicky fruther, there were no vending machines to get water, the bedsheets had holes in them, and one of the bathroom sinks didn't have hot water either.

Ivy Boutique Hotel - Classy but not stuffy !

Great location, terrible housekeeping
The location of the hotel is great and the rooms are big. In the first room I found pubic hairs in the bathroom and then having asked to change went to another room and there was a syringe! I asked at the front desk to see the manager and they sent a housekeeper. I asked again to speak to a manager and they sent the 'on-call' manager who instead of apologizing decided to be rude and denigrate her staff member. The 'manager's' response to me was to change room or if I didn't like it I could leave the hotel?!? I was shocked by this especially as I had been super calm throughout the incident and just asked for a solution. The next day no-one reached out to see if I was ok or to follow up and I had to pursue the general manager via phone, email and in person to speak with him. There can be housekeeping issues but the problem here is the lack of response from management.
