Very disappointed in the room. The bed had thin sheets and no blankets and the towels were poor quality and very rough. Did not live up to the expectation of a resort. Will not stay there again.

Beautiful view, clean fresh rooms , friendly staffs. I would stay there again . They need to put a shelve in bathroom because there was no place to put your personal stuff . We enjoyed our stay !!

Great staff. Fabulous tours. Nice room impossible impeccably clean with a view! We chose the room over the cabins to ensure air conditioning was adequate.

Loved it.
The cabana was great. Comfy bed. Warm staff. Happy hour served pool side. Because this accommodation is at the top of the hill, there is often a nice breeze.

Beautiful, clean, fun!
Awesome! Quiet resort with great dinner and drink options. The views are wonderful and we loved hanging out on our porch in the morning and evening. Highly recommend!

Great place overall. The food was delicious and affordable and the pool was fantastic. The cabanas we stayed in both needed updating and there was a bird nest in one and ours was close to the bottom of the hill where a rooster lived. I would recommend staying in the hotel itself. We would stay again for the view and convenience

Great location had a incredible view! Was walking distance to town. Lot of food choices to choose from there. Enjoy the pool and have Oscar get your drinks for you!

Ideal mountain top setting
Loved our stay at Cahal Pech Village Resort. Originally booked one of the small cabins, but the walk down the hill was just too much for my wife who had put her back out and was still recovering. We asked for room in the main building. Staff were eager to please and immediately moved us to the new section. A much larger room and change in price. Service was excellent. The finish of the room was very good, but a bit quirky. Beds were comfortable. Large balcony overlooking the town in the valley below. Dining room and bar area is on north side of building and close to the pools. No windows, just open to spectacular views of the town and jungle beyond. The hotel is high on a hill and we would definitely go back for the service and views. The very bumpy road up to the hotel is very steep and it is a long walk down to the centre of town. You should book the Tikal tour through the resort. Great tour guide, incredible trip, wonderful full sit-down lunch and cold beer after lots of walking.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Edwin in the restaurant went out of his way as did Niko and Iris in the planning of tours. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere perfect. The only thing I saw that needed improvement, was there was only seven lounge chairs for three swimming pools. Other than that it was it awesome.
