I do not recommend this hotel
Our room was next to some lads having a loud party till 2am. Walls are so thin you could hear everything. In addition there was noise coming from the street - Krakowskie Przedmiescie. So from one hand great location of the hotel - in the heart of Lublin, but from the other it's loud! Bed with outdated mattress, very uncomfortable. I do not recommend this hotel.

Nice Hotel in the Heart of Lublin
Right in the heart of the old town. There’s a gated parking for 35PLN. Really tiny rooms. It’s maybe 25’ x 9’. Very fast and professional check-in. Good hot breakfast.

Business trip
In general hotel provides good service. for money I paid. Parking lot is spacy and parking was available all the time. The hotel provides discount for guests at the restaurant. Hotel is located at the very center of Lublin. Unfortunately the hotel doesn't have gym or spa for guests. Choice of TV channels was very scanty and TV was too small for the room.

In the heart of Lublin.
My wife and I intended to spend a weekend in Lublin, but had to change our plans after one day. When I explained the situation to the front desk clerk, she immediately and most cheerfully agreed to a full refund of the unused stay. We plan on returning to Lublin and will definitely stay at this hotel.

I will recommend it, but....
We had a nice, big room with a balcony and a great view. The bathroom was spacious, the amenities quite OK, although not replaced daily (we stayed for 6 nights - full price). The breakfast was good, the choice of food pleasing. But... Every morning the cleaning ladies started very early and were waking us up, as they called to each other aloud in the hallway. We asked them to be more quiet, but it helped only on this one occasion. Additional attractions we had from the evening to late at night, as the local nigh life started just under our balcony. Disco music was played via loud speakers on the street and the Hotel staff was not interested to help. They admitted that several other guests complained on the loud music as well. It was quiet when it was raining... Nice place, close to the Old Town, plenty of cafes and restaurant in the walking distance.

Good value, conveniently located
Very good European style hotel. Very conveniently located near old town. I have stayed at the Europa several times in the past. It is my favorite hotel in Lublin. They used to have by far the best breakfast in town, but since my last stay, the breakfast has been moved to a smaller room and is more limited, but still a very good value. The only negative about staying at the Europa is that the showers are EXTREMELY slippery and you have to hang on to the safety bar or risk slipping. It's hard to shower when one hand has to be constantly on the bar. A rubber mat in the shower would certainly help.

Bins and beds
We were there only for 3 days and not for pleasure so we could put up with a little advesrity and you have to remember you cant compare 4* in UK with 4* in Poland as it used to be a communist country and buildings are old and only recently cared for. So, don't expect a real UK 4*. On the positive it was clean and staff were friendly and polite and there was a mini bar in the room which was not full so we made use of it for our own milk. However, there was no lighting on the staircase when I had to leave at 7am one morning which was rather annoying as the stairs have no carpet and are dark wood and rather slippy !! The twin beds we had were lumpy, and had seen better days. The pillows had no substance, ie were way too soft and provided no support. There was no bin in the room so we had to use the very small one in the bathroom which filled quite quickly so it was of poor use. Be warned, you get no kettle/tea/coffee... we envisaged this and brought our own. The bath towels are smaller than one would expect (a little larger than a hand towel). The room key did not work and we had to ask for help and found out that if you keep it in your bag near a mobile phone then tney stop working !!

Lublin layover
Perfect stay and location for our two night stay. Current works in the Square caused us difficulties in locating the property - these works should be finished by May 2017. We thought we had a King bed but got only a Queen size. Breakfast whilst adequate, could also be improved.

After three decades
Hotel Europa was a great place to met my college friends. We took a stroll through Krakowskie Przedmiescie and walk memory line across university campus. After short rest at the hotel we enjoyed walking the other way, toward Old Town. I spend a very pleasant afternoon and evening in Lublin,noticing all positive changes in the city.

Not brilliant hotel. Cleaner take my shopping bag to rubbish, not very clean, Brakfast not to much choice, reception try take for us more 500zl then normal bill. That's not 4 *hotel. Never stay again.

Nice Hotel with good location
Very comfortable and and overall pleasant to stay for couple of days. Very good breakfast with large choice of food. The only downside of our stay was 24/7 humming noise that sounded like air condition fan that does not matter if we used A/C or not. Could hear it over the sound from room tv.
