Clean and nice, just an older hotel. In its day it must of been extravagant.

I stayed here for one night before moving into a studio I had rented. The room was comfortable enough, the staff were friendly and a nice breakfast was included in the hotel rate.

This hotel is a bit older, but well maintained and the room was very clean. Had a vintage vibe to it. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The location was perfect for our needs. Lots within walking distance.

4 nights in hotel
The good thing is near Maya. So, it is easy to get food. however, the wifi was not stable and kept disconnected every 5 mins. i lived in lower floor and it was very noise. and seems additional charge required for hair dryer.

10/10 Exceptional

My stay at Victoria Nimman Hotel was for only one night, to accommodate a night between my visit to Chiang Rai and a flight to Bangkok, from Chiang Mai, so my experience with this hotel is limited. The check in was smooth. I arrived a half hour before the 2:00 pm official check in time, and the staff confirmed my reservation and held my luggage in a secure area so I could shop at the Makro grocery store across the street in the meantime. There were two negative points that I could mention: first (not the hotels fault) is noisy construction directly across the street from my room, and lastly is the very hard mattress on the bed. I usually prefer a firm mattress but but this one is more like sleeping on a rock! Overall, I would stay at Victoria Nimman Hotel again, despite these two drawbacks, but I would ask for a room on the opposite side of the hotel, away from the jackhammering noise from the construction project.

6/10 Good

The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, and the food we ordered from room service was really good! The room itself was fine for what we were using it for - two nights stay so we could venture out to find a more permanent place for the next few months. I wouldn't have wanted to stay there any longer. It wasn't dirty (although the shower could've been cleaner) but it just wasn't.. I don't know how to describe it. I was just very ready to leave after two nights. Our bed was MASSIVE though, which was nice! Our room also faced the grocery store... so starting promptly at 6:30 AM a man blows a whistle to direct the traffic in the parking lot. Not fun to wake up to. All in all, it worked for what we needed it for, but I wouldn't want to stay long term.

ALL IN ONE
Liked staying in the older building. More private and away from the street. Furniture not kept up and showed much wear. However room was very clean and comfortable. The only issue I take is with the typical Thai bathroom where the shower is not separate. The entire room including commode gets wet while taking a shower. New supermarket across the street opened during my stay. Very convenient. A safe in the room would be more customer friendly.

2/10 Poor

Hard mattress and bed bugs!
This hotel needs so much help I'm not sure where to begin. Breakfast was cold every morning, bedbugs feasted on my legs and I've never in all my travels experienced such hard mattresses. It's apparent that the owner doesn't care. I reported each of these issues and there never was an attempt to improve or apologize. Recommendations to improve food temperature were met with blank stares. Avoid this place!!

Nice hotel at Nimman Road
Pro- We stayed in suite room with 2 big beds, rooms and bedding are comfortable. There is a good noodle restaurant opposite the hotel. Cafe are surrounded and there are pubs are bars just nearby the hotel at night. Con- Charge rate signage showing extra bed to be charged baht 400 but front staff want to charge us although we have extra person but never request for any extra bed. I think this should be clarified as different procedure from what stated on their charge rate signage.
