The property is now under new name and management than advertised on expedia. This meant that despite paying through the expedia website the new management had no record of my payment and i had to pay the daily rate to stay at the hotel in addition to the rate i had already paid. Expedia have so far not issued me a refund despite my request. New management were not particularly helpful in contacting expedia to resolve the issue though hotel staff tried their best.
