When we arrived the front desk acted if we were an inconvenience for checking in and was not very accommodating even though there was nobody around. When we walked in the room the floor was so sticky it almost pulled my shoes off. The dishwasher had a a hand written out of order sign on it and there was no handle on the refrigerator door. There was one glass, one plate, and two knives in the kitchen. All the furniture in the living area was dusty and irritated my allergies. The TV. remote didn’t work, and the floors were not vacuumed. In the bathroom the floor had crud all along the edges. The tub could have been a murder scene that they used bleach to try to clean it up because the was a pink substance around the faucet and drain, and the tub floor was brown and disgusting. I wouldn’t wash my dog in it. The outside fire pit and grill area was actually quite clean and pleasant.

We stayed at this location twice this week. Both times the rooms were impeccable . Breakfast had a large selection which differed each day we stayed. The only request I have is please provide a gluten free bread option at breakfast to make toast.

It was a decent stay for a weekend with family. Nothing to write home about. No hot tube in the pool area was sad. Breakfast was not worh getting out of bed for but other then that staff was friendly and very helpful, place was clean and in good repair.

In my room, black mold in the shower and on the shower curtain. I informed the staff I wanted a new shower curtain because I didn’t want to have to change hotels on my anniversary. Never happened. If possible, check the room before you pay, this is the most I paid for a dirty room in my life.

I expected more from Homewood. I have no idea when the last time the shower was cleaned. Orange scum throughout and gunk around the drain. No shampoo or conditioner in the provided containers. My traveling companion and I arrived late on motorcycles and were too tired to lodge concerns upon arrival. Furthermore, the receptionist seemed to have zero interest in receiving us. We had better service, reception and cleanliness at the Best Western the night before! Next time I'm in the area, I'll think about staying elsewhere.
